The Importance of L and J in Editing
Ellen Jay cuts are letters that move in certain directions. When we stack or shorten or lengthen things we can L or J cut it's really just depended on the direction that you're trying to go in. Ellen J is a like you said is a great way to condense time because when you cut to the other person you can then cut out the oomphs and the odds and whatever the fuck else is there yeah they're great for transitions tooYeah transitions without the need for shitty crossfades yes. If we want to overlay audio shorten things have that you know there's there's infinite uses for the L and the J cut yeah.
