The Evolution of Platforms
I think that different platforms have had different responses and I think that they are always changing and always evolving. It is difficult to fully understand what it is they're doing sometimes it doesn't make sense. We also see that the moderation sometimes affects activists more than it seems to affect racists. And then this leads us to, you know, it's a little bit worrisome. The danger is that when social media companies become the gatekeepers, that there is potential for slowing down the speed at which regular people can reach the masses through hashtags or going viral.
