The Deep Story on the American Right
Ali Hochschild is the preeminent sociologist of her generation. In 2011, alarmed by America's growing polarization, Ali decided to break out of her liberal elite bubble in Berkeley and find an equal and opposite bubble. Her book Strangers was a finalist for the National Book Award and is a must read. This conversation was recorded on Sunday the 22nd of November.
