How to Protect Diversity in Group Discussion
The best way around it is a real culture which respects diversity, but without ever losing the robustness that you need in group discussion. The introverts often get squeezed out with brain writing, where you write your ideas down and everyone gets to write it down. And brainstorming, people will often start to echo the dominant people in the room. So if it's a six person group, only three people will be speaking for like 75 to 80% of the time.
