Psychopathy is a personality construct. It's based on a constellation of three kinds of personality traits. The real core of the construct is callousness, meaning insensitivity to other people's suffering. People who are psychopathic tend to have a bold, sort of dominant, fearless personality styles. They do manifest as aggression and criminal violence.
