When you're in a large function, it can be hard to get a grasp on the overall code flow of the function. In gidra, it's all grouped, and you can kind of filter down to find what you want - which i think is a really nice u e feature. The tree's definitly nice, specially once you recognize kind of how it works. It's not intuitive, or at least it wasn't to me that it was grouping upt. But there are a few negatives we've encountered, especially with large bineries, like colonel for example.
