Social Media Is Not About Judgment
The media started relying on social media as what we call Vox Populi, some kind of accurate reflection of where you guys are on things. That was a mistake because it is not reality. Reality is about exercising judgment. Social media is just a new way of vibing on the same kind of problems culturally. The idea is it's easy to come after other people. But judge yourself, not others, okay? It's not your place and it doesn't really help create any space for better ideas. And that's why social media cultivated.
