How Much Time Do You Spend in Pre-Production?
I like the idea of having constraints or guidelines for what your character is and maybe also what your character isn't. It's useful to throw in things that really aren't what it should be as much as things that are. I don't think that you're always going to hit it, but this genius level work or this very, very high quality that we all want to be there. We will all want the accolades of being able to tell stories that people can really relate to and that potentially move them.
