Aisha's Father Abu Bakr Led the Prophet's Prayer
When Prophet Muhammad was sick, he asked his wife Aisha to have her father lead the Muslims in prayer instead of him. She refused for a number of reasons including that Abu Bakr was an emotional man who would cry during prayers. The prophet eventually did take over the emamorship and completed the prayer. He died not too long after leading that final prayer.
