Engaging Scholars Is a Good Thing
i've been doing university press publishing for 30 years, 30 years this year. i have actually seen scholars in the academy come around to understanding how important it is to speak to connections between relatively obscure work they're doing and something that's happening to day in our lives. Ye imean: You never know when you're going to need em. Like right now, mongolian literature isn't important, but who's to say in ten yearrs, it might be really important.
