We went from our mammal, shrew rodent-like ancestors running underfoot of T-Rex, 65 million years ago. The entire presence of mammals in the world, including the primates, including humans, in 65 million years. That is even small compared with the time life has been on Earth, but it's way bigger than most people can wrap their head around. And the only mistake in all that time was human beings.
