According to a recent IPCC report people in climate vulnerable countries are 15 times more at risk than developed countries. Gregor Robertson: It seems like unlucky geography is partly to blame. But when I raise this question with Juan Jira Mathai, regional director for Africa and vice president of the World Resources Institute she says evidence doesn't support that conclusion. She said it's really about inequality. Well actually it is not geography because Bangladesh should not have as much damage as as the Netherlands but we know that in Bangladesh, given the same situation Bangladesh is will be 15 times more more affected. So it has nothing to do with geography. It has everything to do with prosperity because you build the sort of technologies
