Is the Fourth Gospel the Most Jewish of the Four?
In 1924, a rabbinic scholar at Cambridge and an orthodox Jew addressed stunning news to the University of theological society. Abraham said to us Jews, the fourth gospel is the most Jewish of the four. And so everybody had looked at John up to that point, and they had noticed the super Hellenistic influences. But Abraham's show that the discussion was not Gnostic, but distinctly Jewish.
