What not as many people know, is that he was one of the early investors of technology companies in Australia and had a large role to play with the development of the startup ecosystem in Australia, with his innovation policy during his time in politics.
We chatted to him about his involvement in the tech industry and his current views on a number of issues in tech concerning social media, Australia’s attitude to risk and more.
