God Visits Iniquity on the Next Generations
The word 'iniquity' has such a huge range of meanings. It can mean like counting, so like remembering, putting a number to something,. assigning a position, investigating. And each time you put one of those different words that you could translate it as, it changes that whole meaning. We are invited to live a redeemed life in relationship with him. But the bentness, the brokenness of our beings is not going to go away.
