The Importance of the Trinity in Christian Theology

The Trinity is one of the core tenets of the Christian faith. Any serious Christian theology should take the Trinity seriously in order to be distinctly Christian. The problem you put on the table is whether or not it's even possible to say that Paul believed in the Trinity, given the fact that the formal doctrine of the Trinity was expressed in terms and language which Paul himself does not use.
