The Importance of Peace in the Church

In verse four of the letter, Jesus says he rejoiced greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth just as we were commanded by the father. There's no guarantee that all the children of any in particular person, no matter how elect they are, that all their children are going to walk in the truth. So even now, again, you see this division, you see consternation, you see division coming up between members of the church and not everybody's on the same page.
