Do I Fit Well in This Environment?
I have never heard someone conceptualize flourishing as a goodness of fit. I think it's about do I fit well in this environment? Do I benefit this environment? Sometimes there's a mismatch between an individual and her context. Some people find, oh, you know what? My ideals and meaning system don't align with this particular group. It's not that any one member is necessarily virtuous. But it's also that we've created norms in a culture and a context that really helps each person to bring their own strengths and let them shine.
