How Bioin Burns Energy
The way that the whole newwor comes to consensus is essentially through burning energy. You run a function on your computer, it burns energy, and you're part of the consensus mechanism. So as bit coin blocks are produced, there wasa some amount of energy that went into producing those blocks just based on how many people are running that bicoin function on their computers. It's a very simplistic explanation, but that's the genesis of how bioin actually burns energy.
