Y herd simon famously said that within 20 years, machines will be capable of doing any work a man can do. We are all prodigious olympians, and perceptual and motor areas so good we make the difficult look easy. Abstract thought is a new trick, perhaps less than a hundred thousand years old. It's really very new, it is. And i think that's exactly right.
