The current president Xi Jinping is, base has no term limits. He kind of given the same power as Mao Zedong had back in the 60s and 70s. And basically all religion is deemed foreign because of Marxist socialism - which ironically is foreign. It's more like folk religion at best, you know, honoring ancestors.
