I opposed tarp the bail out for a lot of reasons, but the most important reason was that i knew that once the fed went down this misguided path, there was no turning back. We are at the point now where we have an intractable inflation problem, and the fed can't do anything about it. I think the market would be lower now. Had the fed left the 75 basis points on the table,. It's just that even the smart money still doesn't get what's going on here. Because what we're experiencing are all the inflation chickens coming home to roost. And they're just starting. That's why i was opposing ce one from the beginning.
