Is It a Compounding of Sham?

When people are using sex in a sort of, I'm putting a word in your mouth, flippant way or in a very casual way, multiple partners, multiple acts, can they become where they can't feel shame? St. Thomas would certainly say that you can become callous. Like, vice can make you callous to the moral law, to the dignity. The person who is living in that way becomes classic, Aristotelian, and Thomistic thinking here. They may not see anything wrong with it until we pray for them. And now they find that it's incredibly difficult to be faithful and to be monogamous because they've made so many choices.
