We're seeing a genealogy here from the sort of, like, dark, sort of nexus of of military and finance in the 19 thirties to its current iteration. So it's really hard to not be kind of like, black pilled about at all. And people sort of entrapenureal sort of positivity and sort of solutionism is no replacement for a good, hard tack sort of political, economic analysis of the power involvedhere.

Paris Marx is joined by Olivier Jutel to discuss blockchain’s pivot to humanitarianism, the questionable people behind the technology, and how their projects in the Pacific have benefited capitalist and imperial power.
