After Yale, he went to Carnegie Mellon and became enamored with management science. He then worked on Wall Street as a consultant before starting his own venture capital firm in the 60s. "I thought it was pretty good at consulting," says Paul O'Neill of Venture Capital Ventures. 'It's something I'd like to do.'
