The Math Hates the Rangers

The Rangers are a weird team when it comes to modeling always because their five on five play generally isn't where it should be for a contender, right? Like when you can tend for a cup, ideally your five on five team is top 10 in the league at the very least. And they have not been that way for some time. It's just on paper, the devil's play a style of hockey that the Rangers don't exactly defend well. But we're talking about a four game sample size here where what the devils did that was super successful for 82 games might not fucking matter.
