The Effect of Latitude on the Earth's Energy
The surface of the earth is curved. If you're on a part of the earth that's curved away from the sun, the light that's hitting you is more spread out. The answer would change actually depending on your latitude. 29% of the energy is reflected off the atmosphere. 23% of theEnergy is absorbed by the atmosphere and there are things like clouds. I don't want to grow the leaves for one location and then not work somewhere else. I'd rather all the average feel sated from my leaf.
