How to Be a Good Food Writer

I think there's something like particularly comforting about Italian cooking, the smells of Italian cooking. Peter Mihan, obviously since then Lucky Peach and other things he's written New York Times,. et cetera, has always been one of my favorite writers. Just in people that I know personally in New York that happened to come into the restaurant or, you know, are in New York a lot... It doesn't seem like there's enough to go around, you know?
