Socrates himself admits that it was amazingly fine and he was thrilled by it. He just finds the speech awesome, right? Yes. And they describe Lisius as the ablest writer of the time. So I mean, in a certain way, if you take down Lisius in this dialogue, Plato was taking down the best writer of his era.
