Is the Energy Price Guarantee Really a £2,500 Cap?

This weekend is when the government's energy price guarantee kicks in. The cost of each unit kilowatt hour of energy you use is capped. There is no £2,500 cap on the amount that you pay. What is actually capped is the daily charge you paid just for having gas and electricity. Yesterday was launched a new environmental efficiency schemes. People may not sign up to that if they think there is a maximum amount they can pay on energy.
