The Evolution of the Brain

Our brains evolved under an evolutionary presser to enable success in acquiring food. There's evidence from measuring skull size that the brains of modern day humans are smaller by about 10% than the brains of hunter gatherers before the agricultural revolution. The social brain, the ability to cooperate and work together towards a common goal which animals in the wild is mainly getting food. We're able to develop specific skills, but our brains generalist ability, we think, is going down.
