The History of the Esseveder Elles Court

In the 1920s, Atlanta had walkways that would go at six miles an hour. But they never took off because cars came in around the same time. I think they installed a similar system though in Paris. Thomas Edison turned up there to film it and he was really impressed with it. There's a moment in the footage of him filming this walkway where a man just appears from the crowd and punches a boy in the face. It's so weird.
