The Energy Crisis
In a pole conducted i new york, 76 % of people said the energy crisis was the most important problem facing the country. The 55 mile an hour speed limit was to control use of gas consumption. And then jimmy carter made the energy crisis his own personal waterloo. He installed solar panels on the white house and asked Americans to just do more with less. It was so unpopular that it was parodied by archi bunker and all in the family.
