Introduction
James lindsay: I want to talk about kind of the scale of normalization. What we hear a lot about is whether it's in terms like gender affirming care, or destigmatization of this or that,. And we kind of hear all these different words, celebrating. Turns out these these occur on a scale. The queer theorists want to go not only to the point of destigmatizing through terms like minor attracted person, m a p - but also de-stigmatize petiphelia and bestiality. So they want people to be confused between what it means to de stigmatize something and celebrate it for example.
