The shared secret underlies a lot of the practical cryptography that's done to day. If we use the same password over and over again, we become at risk for people uncovering that by analyzing our data through various techniques. The solution to tat is sort of known as, like, the one time pad. And this came from, i guess, one of the wars were one wer wer two,. where there woud litrl be sort of a pad of sorts of secrets that two people would have.
