"I always felt a need to be in my body and be very present," he says. "My parents invited me into their bedroom and what the drug talk was, hey, you can do them, we just won't pay for them." He's never taken drugs or smoked pot but became an appreciator of spirits after his wife told him they had to drink tequila if they were going to stay together.
