Manger's Definition of Property
Manger argues that this division of labour whereby individual humans are efficiently appropriate to certain orders of goods allows for an increased welfare across the board for everyone. So as you move towards one is more complex goods, you also move towards a more complex civilisation. Manger's thesis with respect to causality then is that increased human understanding has allowed for increased control of proximate conditions of production thus increasing the welfare of man. The degree of which we progress is beholden to the progress of human knowledge itself, but Manger.
