Is Love Determined by Scripture?

Gospel reductionism says that the overall message of scripture is true, wt the particulars can be false. So if i see a passage that doesn't look loving, i can throw that out cause that doesn't fit with the overall narrative. When you enter a gospel reductionism, now you kind of re defined gospel. It usually ends up being some just kind of vague message of god's love and acceptance.
