The Impacts of Glaciers in the Alps
Glaciers are providing water for water supply, irrigation and hydro power production. The regime will change meaning especially that in dry and hot years we are going to have less water. When the glaciers are gone, tis waterable to decline. There is also an impact on hydro power. But then we also have some cultural impacts. Many people come to the alps for recreation, for high king, for holidays. And if they are lost, the appearance of the alps will strongly change.
