The Origins of the Modern Ethiopian Culture
After this period and er where we see the rachidon caliphates, the first major islamic caliphate of arabia. Ar axamite was then pretty much pushed into economic isolation at this point. So really the glory years of axum were now over. We believe that axum was abandoned as a city with the peoples, the population, heading into the highlands. And really axum declined from here. However, one thing that did happen is that christianity very much survives, e in ethiopian lands at this time. And e, right up until the modern day, we see the christian church in ethiopians.
