So really the glory years of axum were now over. We believe that axum was abandoned as a city with the peoples, the population, heading into the highlands. And really axum declined from here. However, one thing that did happen is that christianity very much survives, e in ethiopian lands at this time. And e, right up until the modern day, we see the christian church in ethiopians.
