The First Half of Daniel
In the book of lamentations, he doesn't just describe it as an impartial observer. He describes it as one who not only is suffering himself, but one whose heart is breaking because of the suffering that people are going through. And so we get some really incredible imagery in the second half of the book of daniel. In this part, what we're seeing is, remember, this was the first wave of deportation after jerusalem fell. Theyre living at the same time.
