The Disadvantages of Consciousness
I think there's some point to tease out though because it seems like what a lot of sort of Western culture, maybe other cultures believe is that human beings have this like higher form of consciousness. And yet we have gotten in our way exactly as you say these other creatures on the planet, who seem to successfully co create the ecosystems that they need and be function as part of ecosystems in order to survive. I absolutely agree. So do we need to tease out then that the kind of language when we're talking about consciousness when we'retalking about thought, how is that different from the consciousness and thoughts that we pride ourselves with? We are driving the biosphere and life itself therefore into incredibly dangerous
