How to Integrate Open Telemetry With an External System

We have an open telemetry collector running an R cluster and they're just collecting the things from all services or from this particular service. And data doc has supports for logs for metrics and for traces. In this case, what we've been thinking of is traces, right? Like where you kind of can see like each individual step in between how long that took to get there. That is actually pretty great with data doc. We also have a bunch of alerts set up in there, especially for like business critical things. So I feel it's always the age old struggle of you try to predict what could go wrong, but you can possibly predict what possibly can go wrong.
