Building a Product From Scratch
The longer you go without getting that product into customers' hands in a real environment, not just kind of poking around on it, the further away you're getting from what you need to build. My goal always, and this is pretty common, is to narrow it down as much as possible with feature slicing. It's very, very easy to expand the product and all ofa sudden this idea that you could get maybe maybe a dot one out at least in months ends up taking a year or two. Most software companies won't even talk about their deployment patterns because they haven't matured yet.
