How to Increase Your Team's Load
At Liverpool, we were pretty scientific about the way we monitored players' loads. Every player would wear a heart rate monitor and a GPS device every time they did anything at all. I think that's really important to put enough recovery, rest and recovery into your training program. But you know, people talk about more than 10% increases and all this sort of stuff. That's a bit dangerous getting into those sort of things.
