Carly: Laura's original scene had someone driving home by themselves in a car, all the wrong things. I think I didn't really understand how to show instead of tell. And so that whole first graph was me telling a lot of information. She says she would put it away for weeks at a time and then come back to it with new perspective after having listened to episodes. Carly: After listening to you guys a lot, I kind of eventually felt like that wasn't the best way to goThat it really removed you from the action. So I went back and rewrote all those chapters.
