Are You a Second Developer?
If you're working at a startup, you're much more likely to start a very, very small code base. At a bigger company, you're dealing with legacy code and scalability issues. You kind of have like a startup be set up within a larger company. So we get to focus on writing Ruby apps and learn about the other pieces because eventually the idea is that we become owners of pretty much all of that.
