The Scale of Geothermal Systems
In a large setting, it might actually be multiple smaller geothermal systems that combined together work as one big hole. The way it scales, it just becomes larger and more difficult to manage. In Sweden, we usually drill 100 to 250 meters deep into the bedrock. There's no telling where the listeners might be who might be in different environments where bedrock would never be reachable.
