I'd love to just paint this picture of what childhood and growing up looked like before endurance training was never even a thing. How many races are you doing a year right now or shooting a do? Typically I would do two or three marathons at the most, then sprinkle in some half marathons based on like feel like when something looks interesting. But you don't ever do races. You don't sign up for a race or event as a training race or run. You treat every race like you're racing to die at the fucking Turkey trot on things. It's given I'm coming for your neck.
