Moses' Commentary on Deuteronomy One

Deuteronomy is a retelling of israel's history with a very pointed argument that i think moses is trying to make in retelling this history. In verses one through five, you know, and here i'm following jeoffrey tigi or tiga, in his commentary on deuteronomy, he proposes a caiastic structure for verses 1 through five of chapter one. And then as at the beginning and the end, so in the middle moses spoke to the people of israel, according to all that away had given in commandment to them.
